Santa Teresa VS Nosara Costa Rica. ⁠ ⁠ Read be Santa Teresa VS Nosara Costa Rica. ⁠ ⁠ Read below for my thoughts on both locations and why we liked one over the other. ⁠ (Save this post for later!)⁠ ⁠ 🏖️ beaches: I thought the coastline of Santa Teresa was stunning and the beaches were beautiful. Nosara, while still beautiful, was less impressive. ⁠ 🍳 food: ⁠both locations had amazing food!⁠ 💲 price⁠: Santa Teresa was definitely a bit cheaper than Nosara⁠ 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 crowds⁠: both places are becoming super popular. Santa Teresa had a younger vibe and lots of backpackers. Tourists were mainly from South America and northern Europe. Nosara felt more family friendly and mostly American tourists.⁠ ✨ vibes⁠: Nosara wins this category for me! It had a way more laid back vibe and less hectic feeling.⁠ ✈️ accessibility : Nosara was easier to get to! Only 2.5 hours from Liberia airport. ⁠ 🏨accommodation: both locations had a lot of airbnbs and hotels to choose from - but book in advance. Most places were full when we started to book a month in advance.⁠ ⁠ Overall, Brent and I liked the smaller town feel of Playa Guiones, Nosara. It wasn’t nearly as crowded and hectic as Santa Teresa felt. We also had an amazing Airbnb which can totally make a difference. If I were to go back to Santa Teresa (because it was gorg!)
